I've never really understood prejudice against Jews. Of the "big three" bullshit religions, Judaism to me is inarguably the least offensive.
Witness Jewish Heritage Night, coming up at San Francisco Giant's AT&T park in a few nights. Sponsored by Bay Area Jewish organizations, they'll be giving away "Rally Rabbi bobble heads," based on real-life "Rally Rabbi" Josef Langer. At last year's first Jewish Heritage Night, Langer became a crowd favorite when he blew the be-jesus (couldn't resist) out of his shofar to rally the home team.
But wait--bobble-headed Jews aren't all! The official beer of Jewish Heritage Night will be He'Brew, by Schmaltz Brewing Company.
(The tagline, The Chosen Beer, is pure genius. Check out their web site and just revel in the good-humored marketing. )
How do you not like these Jew people? I mean, can you imagine a Bishop Bobble head? Or a Muslim Mitt? (guaranteed to catch infidel balls??)
I gotta sign off. Tickets are going fast.
